It really was a retro revival at this seasons London Fashion Week.
With many of the designers drawing inspiration from past decades, that will have us rummaging through our wardrobes in the hope we have kept something similar from days gone by.
From pinafore dresses to tweed suits there was something for everyone.
We pick our favourite three collections from Autumn/Winter 2015/2016
Topshop Unique
With a classic, sophisticated girl about town feel, Topshop Unique was getting it just right at their Autumn/Winter showcase.
Gorgeous wearable pieces in an assortment of patterns and textures, all with a mix of 70’s/80’s/90’s nostalgia
Cute check pinafore dresses worn with roll neck knits and block heel pumps, cornflower two piece corduroy suits and a tweed A-line skirt with fluffy cropped jacket were some of our favourite outfit combinations
Vivienne Westwood
Dame Vivienne Westwood always manages to put drama into her collections, draping and ruching the female form as only Westwood knows how.
Mixing tiger prints with sequins, pink lace and vibrant shades of red, she is daring to say the least.
While tweed, tartan and tailoring added a more sensible edge yet had a classic Westwood feel.
