This season’s shoe has to be the flat. It’s practicality always outweighs that of it’s higher-heeled cousin, but this season flats have had a pretty make over, too. It’s just as well, then, that The Clothes Line has had a fabulous pair of PRADA (yes, you heard right) pointed loafers donated this week! We love their midnight-blue suede colour – perfect for taking you from day to night – as well as from summer to autumn. The bow detailing adds the touch of prettiness every pair of shoes needs, and the pointed shape elongates feet to look feminine, even if you’re just wearing them with a pair of jeans.
We’ve just added these gorgeous shoes to our eBay for charity page at a bargain £60! Head over to the page and check them out here.
We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again; Birkenstocks are the only shoe to be seen in this summer, and they’re here to stay. We’ve been donated another pair of the hippie statement shoe, this week in the very style and colour that’s had the seal of approval of every fashion industry insider this season. White, Double-Strap Classics. We love.
These pair have hardly been worn and are available to buy in a UK size 6 (EUR 39) for £20 in our Harpenden shop from Friday!
This week we’re coveting this gorgeous peter pan collar dress from Rare London. In a nude colour it’ll flatter practically any skin tone, and can be worn with skyscraper heels and big hair for maximum night out impact, or with flat sandals and a slouchy hobo bag for holidaying in style.
The brand is probably best known for it’s well deserved spot in the concession areas of Topshop stores around the country, as well as being available online. But, courtesy of The Clothes Line, this party-perfect showstopper (it’s brand new, by the way) will be available to purchase in our Oxford Summertown charity shop as of tomorrow!
In a size 8 and priced at just £20 there’s really no excuse not to take a look…
Today’s fab donation had to be this cute 60’s inspired polka dot shift dress from Hobbs, designed by Marilyn Anselm.
It’s 50% silk exterior means it drapes beautifully and is ideal for dressing up or down, whilst the velvet bodice adds a hint of nigh-time glamour that will take you effortlessly from summer to winter once the weather starts to turn. This style of dress was seen massively on the catwalks for AW14-15, particularly Louis Vuitton, so you’ll be way ahead of the fashion curve. Wear with block heeled court shoes and a beehive up ‘do’ for the ultimate retro revival.
Find this gorgeous dress available to buy online through eBay for just £30 from tomorrow here.
Could this be the most perfect summer dress? A classic shift, flattering on any body shape, and this season’s hottest stripes in a denim-y hue. What more could you ask for? From stylish British brand Fenn Wright Manson (known for their use of luxury threads and yarns), this is a timeless piece that your sure to wear over and over. Pair with a chic cardigan and flat sandals for a BBQ, or wedges and a classic stole for a fancy garden party or date night.
This gorgeous dress will be heading to our shop in Harpenden next week priced at just £28.00.
Summer’s finally here and on a day like today with glorious sunshine, who can resist slipping into something altogether less ‘British’? But lets not forget where we are; the temperamental English weather means there’s a good chance when you get up in the morning, you’re going to be dressed wrong. But with this on trend monochrome ensemble you can rest assured you’ll beat the weather.
This midi length utility skirt screams 90’s cool, and it’s the perfect length to save you from looking slightly too under-dressed when it rains on your walk to the tube (even if you are wearing it with ‘pool’ slides).
Even better to brave the English summer – a sleeveless jacket. You’ve seen them everywhere but now it’s time to invest, because this will be your best friend from now to September. It’s long and coat like, but its sleeveless attribute means you can look sensibly dressed even in the scorching heat. This here is from Scottish knitwear gurus Pringle, so you know it’ll be super cosy when you need it to be. Pair with a cropped t shirt & over denim shorts for when the sun’s out, and a long sleeved top and midi skirt for when those clouds look ominous…
You can buy this entire outfit from our Wilmslow shop from next week.
